Another option is to bet on 4 numbers in what is known as square or corner bet and you have to place a bet on the middle of these numbers. The payout for this is 8 to 1.

The top line bet or betting on five numbers follows. The odd for this bet is 6 to 1.

Finally, you could bet on six numbers in what is known as Double Street or Top line bet and payout is 5 to 1.

House Edge

Just like any other casino game, the house has an edge over players who are playing roulette. House edge for European and French Roulette is lower than the American version of the casino game since the additional “00” slot causes house edge to increase.
